Flanders Man Arrested Friday For Possession Of Drugs And Child Endangerment Charges

Oct 23, 2015 3:01 PM

The East End Drug Task Force and Southampton Town Police made one arrest Friday morning after they obtained a search warrant for a Flanders home.

Officers, along with the Southampton Town Police Emergency Services Unit and the Suffolk County Sheriff's K-9, raided the home on Glen Avenue and charged Robert Bale, 33, of Flanders with third-degree criminal possession of marijuana, a felony, as well as endangering the welfare of a child, a misdemeanor.

Police said that they obtained a search warrant for the home after they received complaints from the local Civic Association about more traffic in the area. Police found scales, packaging materials, marijuana and cash at the home, they said.

Mr. Bale was arrested and arraigned at Southampton Town Justice Court. He was released in lieu of $950 bail and is due back in court on December 2.
