Priscilla Paulsen Miller Of Bridgehampton Dies June 3

Jun 25, 2019 2:57 PM

Priscilla Paulsen Miller died June 3, 2019, at her home in Bridgehampton. She was 72.

Born January 12, 1947, in Glen Cove, she was the only daughter of Ruth and Alexander Paulsen. Raised in East Williston, she attended the Waldorf School in Garden City, graduated from The Wheatley School in Old Westbury, and attended Sorbonne Université. She then began an exciting career spanning many years with Eastern Airlines. In 1990, she moved to Woodstock, Vermont, for the joy of living in the countryside.

She divided her final years between Bridgehampton and her home in LaGrange, Illinois, where she brought warmth to Chicago’s legendary winters, savored time with her daughter and grandchildren, and discovered her interest in painting, especially with newfound friends.

Her many activities included the Bridgehampton Association; the Daughters of the American Revolution; the Society of Mayflower Descendants; P.E.O. Sisterhood; St. Ann’s Episcopal Church and volunteering in its Thrift Shop.

She is survived by her mother, Ruth Paulsen; daughter Melissa Marcoux (John); grandchildren, Isabelle and Elliott; brother David Paulsen (Lucille); niece Kristina; and nephew Erik. A son, Alexander, predeceased her in 2010.

A memorial service will take place on July 10 at 11 a.m. at St. Ann’s Episcopal Church in Bridgehampton.

Memorial donations may be made to P.E.O. Sisterhood, St. Ann’s Church, ARF of the Hamptons, or the Bridgehampton Association.
