  • A fundraiser for Sean Grismer, a 23-year-old from Hampton Bays who was seriously injured while on a family vacation, took place at Hamptons Gym Corps on Sunday, May 19. Participants signed up for a spin bike to raise money for medical care. He is currently in a rehabilitation facility in Florida.<br/><span style='font-style:italic'>Submitted May 21</span>

  • Hampton Bays Elementary School second graders recently participated in a financial literacy program sponsored by People’s United Bank in partnership with the Junior Achievement program. The students learned about the people and businesses that make up a community, how goods and services are produced in a community, and some of the different jobs that are held by members of the community.<br/><span style='font-style:italic'>Submitted May 6</span>
